Gulf
Gulf is a devised, immersive, participatory theatre experience that explores what it's like to live through a hurricane, as well as the process of disaster recovery in America's Gulf South. The piece was created for the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama's Playground Festival and performed in the John Wells Video Studio in CMU's Purnell Center for the Arts in December 2016. All designing and staging was done in one week. The piece was inspired by my experiences living through hurricanes, as well as the stories of my collaborators and other survivors.
